Yubadocs is a walk in Urgent Care Center that treats both walk-in and appointment based patients for minor emergencies and other common medical needs. We provide quality medical care in a healing, patient centered user friendly environment. This means being opened extended hours and providing care on the same day it is needed. We are the premiere Urgent Care Center for Nevada City, Grass Valley, and western Nevada County. Urgent care is a specialty devoted to treating illnesses and injuries, which are non life threatening and do not require hospitalization. Urgent care is a convenient and affordable alternative to bypass the long waits and high costs found in most emergency rooms. Urgent care centers can often provide the same examinations, testing, diagnosis and treatment as a hospital at a substantial savings and in less time. We are able to take x rays, ECG's, cast and splint simple fractures and run basic lab work on site, which saves you time. We are the first Medical office in the region to be completely electronic, which means no paper charts to get lost.

How are we different than an Emergency Room?

Ambulances don't drop people off here ad we are closed at night. Our patients can walk in, so they don't need an ambulance.

How are we different than a typical Family doctor's office?

We have emergency equipment on site and the experience and skill to use it. We are open extended hours and we never close for lunch, so you can call us all day. No answering service will tell you to call back after 2 PM. We are open 8AM to 6PM weekdays and 9AM to 4 PM weekends and holidays. You can always be seen the same day you need services and unless you are seeking a physical (we prefer you schedule an appointment as this is a long visit), you can walk in with your problem and we will help you. You don't have to wait weeks for an appointment.

People who have a minor emergency and who don't want to go to the Emergency Room. People whose physician refers to us because of our expertise with suturing, orthopedics and our immediate availability. People whose doctor's office is closed. People who don't want to take off work to see a doctor, so they come in after work or on the weekends. Employers who want employment physicals, drug tests or first aid for work related injuries. Drivers who need a DMV physical. Employers who want a quality, cost effective workman's compensation provider. Tourists and visitors who have no local doctor and become ill or have an accident while visiting our area. Women who want a woman to do their female health care, do their pelvic and breast exams.
