Yubadocs takes all PPO insurance

If you have PPO health insurance, we will submit the bills to your health insurance company for you. Keep in mind however, that the amount that an insurance company will reimburse depends on both the company, and your particular plan.

We are contracted with Blue Shield, Medicare, United Health Care and PacifiCare PPO, so assignment rates may apply for these members. If you have more questions about insurance or bills, please contact Carrie.

We are not contracted to take Medi-cal insurance.

Most HMO insurances will not authorize us to see you and will not reimburse us for services rendered. If you still wish to be seen, you will be responsible to pay your bill at the time of services. We will mail you the paperwork you need to bill your own HMO insurance.

Members of the Sierra Nevada Medical Associates HMO plan must contact their Primary care physician and obtain a referral during office hours or sign a statement stating they have contacted the on-call physician and was advised to seek medical attention at Yubadocs after 5 pm and /or on the weekends. In addition to your co pay, you may be charged for any items deemed non covered by your insurance.

For un-insured patients, we offer a 20% discount for charges paid in full at the time of service. By law we can only offer this discount to un-insured patients.
